Visit Riihimäki presents the area's outdoor trails and forest tourism-related companies at Evo

Visit Riihimäki, the tourism organization of Lopen, Riihimäki and Hausjärvi, is participating in Evo's Forest & Hiking event in Lammi on May 27.5.2023, 10. The event is open this Saturday from 18 am to XNUMX pm and admission is free. The Visit Riihimäki stand includes Lopen's outdoor trails and nature destinations, Pirteeks, the Finnish Hunting Museum and the Riihimäki Wilderness Fair.

The event, which is being held for the first time, is divided into two themes. The forest theme presents work done in the forest. The hiking theme provides information about getting out in nature. The area features companies offering nature tourism services, hiking destinations and hiking equipment.

Visit Riihimäki's stand will showcase Loppi's outdoor trails and nature destinations, both on land and in the water. Loppi has nearly 100 kilometers of marked trails and over 300 lakes and ponds. Pirteeks, a Loppi-based company offering individual wellness coaching, will be at the fair. Pirteeks' services include the forest gym Pirteeks Bootcamp and Silence mini-retreats.

The Finnish Hunting Museum in Riihimäki has a wilderness information center that presents the whole story of wilderness. The Hunting Museum is not only aimed at hunters, but nature lovers from children to adults will love the museum. The Riihimäki Wilderness Fair is the largest wilderness event in Finland and will be held next time in the summer of 2024. The themes of the Wilderness Fair are hunting, fishing, hiking and nature.

At the Visit Riihimäki stand, you can try out the Pirteeksi forest gym. The Forest & Hiking event is organized by the Häme Vocational Institute in cooperation with the Evo New Age project. The fair has a program for forestry professionals, students and hikers. Work demonstrations, chainsaw competitions, interesting company offerings and the magnificent Evo campus area provide a great setting for the event.
