Come and visit the renovated summer theater in Riihimäki

Riihimäki's new and wonderful summer theater opened to the public on June 21.6.2023, 450. As a result of the renovation, the summer theater has a covered XNUMX-seat auditorium, technical room, cafeteria building, ticket office and public toilets, as well as dressing rooms, toilets and maintenance facilities for the staff. In addition to these, accessibility and the general lighting of the area have also been improved.

The power duo of Riihimäki theater field, Riihimäki Teatteri and Riihimäki Youth Theater bring the audience two captivating theater performances for the first summer in the new premises. For older summer theater people, there is a witty comedy in which a house party turns into chaos when a small misunderstanding grows to huge proportions. In the play "My wife is another country" written by Gilles Dyrek, surprise twists rain down here and there. The show features Vuokko Hovatta, who is known as the powerhouse of Ultra Bra, Maija Siljander, the favorite face of Riihimäki, Iikka Forss of Modern men and Antti Peltola, who was also seen in Roba and Munkkivuori.

A summer theater adventure for the whole family is offered by Three Merry Bandits. Riihimäki Youth Theater brings the colorful and always sunny city of Kardemumma to the stage of Allinna, with its trams and days. The incomparable story of Kasper, Jesper and Joonatan charms theatergoers of all ages with its hilarious plot twists. The play is directed by Essi Rönnkvist and Moona Karhu. A group of Riihimäki Youth Theater students will be seen in the roles.
