NATURE365 brings the spirit of the forest to Hausjärvi
The Spirit of the Forest is an exciting, magical and fascinating look at the Finnish forest. The works of top Finnish photographers will lead you into the secrets, beauty – and current state of the forest.
The Spirit of the Forest is a multi-sensory nature photography event for the whole family, where some of the works combine sound, music, scents, facts and the latest research information. The event also includes activities for the youngest members of the family: a nature trail and a children's photography exhibition.
The Spirit of the Forest fills the Hausjärvi Municipal Office in Oiti and the old bank building next to it with beautiful nature images.
The exhibition also includes three event days. The opening ceremony on Saturday 13.6 June and Sunday 14.6 June, and the closing ceremony on Saturday 1.8 August. All days feature high-quality photo presentations and expert presentations. The photography exhibition will feature guests such as Heikki Willamo, Pertti Salolainen, Mika Honkalinna, Antti Strang, Jani Ylikankaas, Juha Mälkönen, Taru Rantala and Anne Porevirta.
From the Oiti forest trail, about a kilometer away from the event venue, you will find the “Summer Wind” nature trail for children, guided by the Finnish Nature Association. The route is about a kilometer long and can be used all summer.
