The star artist of the closing ceremony of the summer market season is Aikakone

The municipality of Loppe will once again organize ten summer market events next summer on Thursdays from 4 June to 6 August 2026 from 5 pm to 8 pm.

The summer market season will end with a star performer voted for by the public. This year, the performer was chosen by vote as usual. The voting took place from 20 April to 30 April 2026 on the Loppe municipality's website and social media channels. A total of 484 votes were cast.

The bright candidates for star artist of 2026 were Aikakone, Isaac Sene, Suistamon sähkö, Yona (trio) and Younghearted. Aikakone emerged as the winner of the vote with a huge number of votes, collecting 56,6 percent of all votes cast. The other four artists divided almost half of the vote very evenly. We asked and you answered: Aikakone will be performing at the end of the summer markets!

At the unforgettable closing party on August 6, 2026, you will enjoy guaranteed nostalgia and danceable songs, the most famous of which are “Odota” and “Neiti Groove”. Naturally, there will be a bit of magic dust on the summer evening, as the Time Machine takes visitors to another world for a moment behind the starry sky.

The band that has refreshed the souls of our Finns with their music for 30 years is hitting the stage at Loppe Summer Market after many breaks, farewells and comebacks and showing what Aikakone sounds like in 2026. Towards the Treasure Island and around it – see you at Loppe Market!
