A new tourism project in Kanta-Häme – Anna Perho is driving the opening seminar
The joint project Elämykset esiin – from the experience economy to growth in tourism has been launched by the Kanta-Häme regions. The aim of the two-year project is to find and develop experiences offered by companies located in rural areas into products that can be purchased. The project will help rural companies receive help and advice on developing their own business and digital visibility.
The project will be launched in a spectacular way with the regional Elämykset esiin tourism seminar on April 11.4 at Häme Castle. The seminar will bring together tourism operators in the region and offer interesting speeches from industry experts as well as practical examples of how digital visibility and purchaseability can be improved.
The afternoon seminar will be opened by Regional Director Toni K. Laine. Annakaisa Ojala from Visit Finland will highlight the importance of digital visibility channels in tourism, especially from the perspective of international customers. Janni Kitti from Kulta Creative will encourage social media marketing. In addition, the seminar will feature case examples from tourism entrepreneurs who have utilized digital sales and marketing channels.
The seminar's keynote speaker is media personality Anna Perho, who will address stereotypes between rural and urban residents. She will tell her own story from the countryside to the city and back again. Perho's speech will offer a perspective on the interaction between rural and urban areas and the opportunities for tourism, as well as highlighting views on marketing and differentiation.
The main implementer of the project “Experiences – from the experience economy to growth in tourism” is Linnan Kehitys Oy and the sub-implementers are Forssa Yrityskehitys Oy (FYK) and Riihimäen Tilat ja Kehitys Oy (RTOY). The project is financed by the European Rural Development Fund and the total budget is over €352. The project will be implemented from 000 January 1.1.2024 to 31.12.2025 December XNUMX.
