Dive into the Christmas spirit at Loppella
Piano concert – Sibelius and Finnish piano music spiced with Chopin Thu 11.12. at 19 pm.
Risto Lauriala, one of the leading pianists in Europe and Finland, will perform at the Fallesmann in the Loppe Library. The program includes works by Sibelius, Einojuhani Rautavaara, Oskar Merikanto and Chopin. Admission €20. Organized by the municipality's cultural services.
Lammaskahvila Christmas Trail – Christmas for animals and a moment of peace in the middle of nature. The Christmas path runs through quiet nature, where the light of candles and lanterns guides walkers into a peaceful Christmas atmosphere. Christmas Together - Epiphany Concert at the Lopen Chapel Tue 6.1.2026 at 6 pm (Pilpalantie 2). Vocal ensemble Encore, Loppem Male Singers and Vola choir. Free admission, program €15. Epiphany bonfires will be lit on different sides of Loppem on Epiphany from 4 pm to 11:45 pm.

Riemu Museums Christmas event, 13.12 at 14. During the afternoon, we will watch old Christmas recordings from the collections of the Riihimäki City Museum and reminisce about the atmosphere of past decades. Mulled wine and gingerbread will also be served. The recordings show the opening of the Riihimäki Christmas Street and the market event from 1996, as well as the events of the turn of the year 1999–2000. The moments of the turn of the millennium and the Christmas procession filmed almost 30 years ago offer a fascinating journey through time into the history of local celebrations.
