In Hausjärvi, in the heart of Oiti, along Kantatie 54, a charming summer café blooms on the edge of a meadow. The flower café offers visitors a calming rural setting, colorful floral splendor, and a leisurely moment in the middle of a summer day.
The most impressive sight of the place is its vast flower meadow, from which visitors can pick their own bouquets for a small fee. The meadow is planted over several hectares, and its color scheme changes as the season progresses. Self-picking offers an experience where you can walk among the flowers, choose your own favorites, and collect a piece of summer with you.
Special gathering events are also held in the meadow during the summer and seed collection days in the autumn. Children will be delighted by the soap bubble garden.
The café is filled with the scent of fresh coffee and waffles, which have become the café's trademarks. Sometimes the café also serves wall-bottom pancakes and other seasonal flavours, which crown the visit. The café's ambience is created from old courtyard buildings. A former tractor stable and woodshed have been converted into a café and a small shop museum, which take you on a journey back in time to your grandmother's rural home. Of course, there is a rooster and a few chickens clucking in the courtyard.
