Get into the Easter spirit in the Riihimäki region

Riihimäki Easter offers a joyful program from Saturday, March 28th until Easter Monday, April 6th. The program is designed for all ages and has something for everyone. During the week, you can get into the Easter spirit by, for example, searching for Easter eggs, doing crafts or enjoying theater performances.

Get into the Easter mood early

Easter events start on Saturday, March 28. You enjoy the spring vibes by stopping by the Galleria Tärinä Easter sale in Riihimäki. At the Finnish Hunting Museum, you can try out crafting birds or help the Easter Bunny find their lost camping equipment.

The Loppi parish is organizing Easter festivities on Wednesday, April 1st, which includes an Easter brunch in the church hall and other Easter activities.

Easter joy fills the entire region

Easter festivities will spread throughout the town of Riihimäki on Easter Saturday, April 4th. A spring festival will be hosted at Antonin talo, with a program designed especially for families with children. At the event, you can try your luck at fishing for prizes, get your face painted, taste some mämmi and join an improvisation activity for the whole family. The main performers will be the clown couple Nelli and Niilo. The program also includes a traditional Easter proclamation.

You can get enjoy the traditional market atmosphere at the Easter market at Ö-talo and the mini market held in the former Sportia's premises. An Easter Saturday market is also held at Loppi Market Square from 9 am to 14 pm.

Enjoy the performances by children and youth theaters

As part of the Easter festivities, SPOTTI – Children and Youth Theatre Days, will also be held in Riihimäki on 4–5 April. Performances by children and youth theatre groups can be seen at Kino Sampo and Riihimäki Theatre. On Saturday, the programme includes, among other things, the revue Tällä rahalla tämmösta by Riihimäki Youth Theatre.
