Sweet, warm Christmas atmosphere
The scent of pine, the sweetness of gingerbread, the softness of wool. You can go to the Christmas market to sell yourself or take a friend under your arm, a child in your backpack and enjoy the authentic atmosphere. And succumb to temptations. The best of them.
The many Christmas markets in the Riihimäki region are real artisan markets. For many, days and weekends are enough fun experiences. There are plenty of events. You can even indulge in the Hausjärvi artisans' Christmas markets, which are three days of pure Christmas color and beautiful arrangements dripping with delicacies.
You can buy something local and atmospheric to put in a gift bag or just to make yourself happy. There is plenty to marvel at, because how many things craftsmen are always willing to do. We develop new things, renew old things and there are plenty of joy-producing insights. We really know how to do product development.
Behind the table, the creator usually presents their products. On the other side, the customer is thinking about their purchases. Now it seems to be the shortest customer chain in the world, the one that works the most comfortably. Genuine things take their time. True, I've become crazy about elves at these markets. A few years ago, I found recipients of elf gifts in my family circle, then I had to get such personalities for my own home. We'll see how it goes this year.
Christmas markets are a great place to find beautiful gifts for other upcoming celebrations. A wonderfully colorful blanket will delight a family with a baby anytime. Warm and well-knitted wool socks were found on a table in a large enough size. Now I can wrap a Christmas surprise for my summer cottage neighbor who loves ice fishing. The cute and durable felt packaging glows in Christmas red. It's nice to slip currant jam into it to take to my aunt.
It's also wonderful to see lively young people of middle school age selling their own baked goods or crafts at the stalls. With nothing more than a gingerbread tree in a basket or a rocking horse under your arm, we're heading towards Christmas.
