The municipalities of Riihimäki, Loppi and Hausjärvi have a strong stage dance tradition. There are three long-standing traditional dance stages in the region.
Riihimäki's legendary dance stage Riutanharju will open its doors in its new glory on Saturday, May 23. Dances will be held every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the summer.
The stage has been used for dancing since 1959. In 2025 and 2026, the historic stage and dance floor were thoroughly renovated. With the renovation, the stage also received a new name: Riutta Dance Stage.

Kolmilammi, also located in Ryttylä, Hausjärvi, is one of the most idyllic dance venues in Finland. As its name suggests, the stage is surrounded by three ponds. Kolmilammi's café is known for its diverse cake offering.

5. Are you interested in a cottage by the lake, close to the capital?
If you want to spend a longer time in the Riihimäki region, it is worth renting a cottage, villa, caravan, car or tent space. They are all available!
