Riihimäki is particularly known for its cultural offerings: art experiences can be enjoyed in museums, galleries, theaters and concerts. On a summer day, you can also relax in green parks, get some exercise, enjoy local restaurants and cafes or shop in local stores. Finnish Glass Museum and Glass Studios

Known for its sparkling glass art The Finnish Glass Museum is one of the most popular attractions in Riihimäki. In the museum you can learn about the 4000-year history of glass and the tradition of Finnish glassmaking. The colorful and decorative glass objects in the exhibitions are a stunning sight for people of all ages.

Next to the Glass Museum you will find The Hunting Museum of Finland, which presents the 10 000-year history of Finnish hunting. The path is pleasant to walk, as it mainly runs along duckboards. Another potential option is the 2,5-kilometer-long Riutta nature trail, where you might catch a glimpse of a hare, fox, squirrel or one of the bird species that nest in the area.
